What is taskbar ?

I will show you some taskbar settings by which you will be able to hide the taskbar in Windows 10 and as well other versions. Before that let us know the definition of taskbar.

As you are aware of taskbar which is an element of a graphical user interface having numerous functions. It typically shows which programs are currently running in your system. The specific design and layout of the taskbar varies between individual operating systems.

In this tutorial i will guide you how you can hide the windows taskbar and taskbar settings in your sytem.For both desktop PCs and tablets, and the method is exactly the same.

 When you hide your taskbar, it can give you more space on your screen and show off your desktop backgrounds. You can hide the taskbar from the Settings menu in Windows 10, or from the Taskbar setting from taskbar. And for other older version go to taskbar Properties to disable it.

How to hide Windows 10’s Taskbar

Follow the instruction as below.

  1. Right-click on free area of the taskbar. And for tablet, hold a finger on the taskbar to get the Taskbar Settings Menu.
  2. Click on taskbar settings
  1. Turn On  automatically hide the taskbar in desktop mode .
  2. For tablet turn on automatically hide the taskbar in tablet mode.
How to hide Windows 7 or 8’s Taskbar

If you’re using Windows 7 or 8, this process may look a little bit different. When you right-click the taskbar, you’ll see a window that looks like this and select “Auto-hide the taskbar” and you’re done! 

TIP :: You can also move Taskbar position on the screen or making the icons much smaller in the Taskbar setting Menu.

Now you are all set . Move your cursor to the bottom of the screen and the taskbar will pop back up. It will hide again when you move your mouse off it. On a tablet, you can swipe up from the bottom of the screen at any time to make the taskbar re-appear.
